Snake: 24 shafts arm loom
The project is inspired by the animals in Peru. I chose emerald green tree boa for my research, its’ body changes from orange to green while growing. To express the shedding process of the snake, I choose dyed cashmere for the single warp and cellophane for extra warp. To show the biodegradable shedding skin of snake, I experimented water soluble yarn in my sample for sustainable purpose.
